Day 1:
Welcome to Sri Lanka
You will arrive at Colombo International Airport (CMB) on your first day. Upon your arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by your local guide. After a brief introduction to your tour, the guide will assist you with your luggage and escort you to a comfortable vehicle. Enjoy a scenic drive to Negombo, a charming coastal town just a short distance from the airport. After checking in at your transit hotel, you can relax and explore the beach or nearby attractions, setting the stage for an exciting journey in Sri Lanka. A delicious dinner will be provided on your first evening to ensure your comfort.Day 2 & 3
Exploring Galle
Day 2: After breakfast, embark on a scenic trip from Negombo to Galle Road. Then, you will exit from Ambalangoda, and our first attraction will be the Madu River Boat Safari.
Madu River Boat Safari We welcome you to Madu River Boat Safari, your gateway to the hidden beauty of Madu Ganga in Balapitiya, Sri Lanka. Embark on an unforgettable boat ride through this enchanting lagoon, renowned for its 64 islands and rich biodiversity. We visit around ten islands in the lagoon. Our journey begins as you board our fully insured boat, navigating through a stunning natural mangrove cave. Along the way, you'll visit Cinnamon Island, where you can witness the traditional cinnamon manufacturing process. Marvel at rural fishermen in their traditional catamarans, adding to the picturesque charm of the lagoon. Keep an eye out for diverse wildlife that thrives in this serene environment. Discover a peaceful temple nestled on the Koth Duwa. Your boat safari will take approximately two hours.

Ambalangoda to Galle Your journey will continue along the beautiful southern coastline from Ambalangoda to Gall, passing beautiful beaches. You will pass through tourist cities like Hikkaduwa and Rathgama, taking in the views of pristine beaches as you approach Galle. Galle Dutch Fort We welcome you to visit Galle Dutch Fort. Located in the Bay of Galle on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka, the fort was built first by the Portuguese in 1588 and extensively fortified by the Dutch from 1649 onwards during the 17th century. It is a historical, archaeological, and architectural heritage monument and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit key attractions, including the Maritime Museum, the old lighthouse, charming Dutch colonial villas, and local antique shops. Afterwards, enjoy a city tour of Galle, immersing yourself in its rich history and vibrant culture, before being dropped off at your hotel to relax for the rest of the day. Day 3: After a delightful breakfast, your guide will take you on an exciting river safari at Koggala Lake. This serene and scenic experience allows you to immerse yourself in the lush surroundings and observe the local wildlife and vibrant birdlife. The peaceful waters and rich biodiversity will make for a memorable morning. The lagoon consists of eight small islands, such as Mangrove Island (Madol Duwa), Cinnamon Island, Kathduwa, and so on. Japanese Peace Pagoda - Rumassala Your next visit will be to the Japanese Peace Pagoda Rumassala. This impressive pagoda, built by Japanese Buddhist monks on the hillside west of Unawatuna, is worth a visit. It is run by a Japanese priest and is surrounded on either side by Jungle Beach and Unawatuna Beach. The meaning behind the Pagoda is to symbolise peace, respect and love. Unawatuna Jungle Beach Your next visit will lead you to this hidden gem, which offers both adventure and stunning views as you navigate lush jungle terrain. Only a five-minute walk from the Japanese Peace Pagoda sits Jungle Beach. The route to this beach is just as exciting as reaching it. Although this beach is growing in popularity, we think it is worth it for the adventure. A small trek through dense jungle and foliage following only a faint trail will lead you to this beach. When the foliage breaks and opens up, you will find Jungle Beach in all its glory, with stunning views of Galle Fort. Once you arrive at the beach, you’ll have time to enjoy a refreshing sea bath in the warm waters of Southern Sri Lanka's coastline, a perfect way to relax and rejuvenate. Yatagala rock temple Yatagala Raja Maha Viharaya is a stunning rock temple among towering rock formations. The journey to the temple involves a rewarding climb, allowing you to appreciate the surroundings fully. At the top, you'll be greeted by a magnificent statue of Lord Buddha, along with intricate murals and wall paintings depicting scenes from Buddhist teachings. The serene atmosphere and panoramic views make this a spiritual and cultural highlight of the day. Afterwards, you will be dropped off at your hotel to relax for the rest of the day.Day 4 & 5
Tissamaharama Adventures
Day 4: After enjoying breakfast at your hotel in Galle, you will depart to Udawalawe. Your first stop will be the Udawalawe Elephant Transit Home, where you can learn about elephant conservation efforts and observe these magnificent creatures up close. Once you arrive in Tissamaharama, you will join the Tissa Lake Safari. You will enjoy Lake Cruse for one hour. Glide across the serene lakes, surrounded by lush landscapes and the melodies of exotic birdlife. Led by experienced boatmen, this exclusive water safari is designed for those seeking a peaceful escape into the heart of Tissamaharama’s natural beauty. After the visit, your guide will drive you to your hotel, where you’ll spend the night. Day 5: Rise early, have breakfast, and get ready for an exciting safari at Yala National Park, renowned for its diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes. The tour will take approximately four and a half hours and include thrilling sightings of elephants, leopards, and various bird species in their natural habitats. Then, we will take you to Sella Kataragama, one of the oldest villages, for a religious and cultural experience. Your guide will explain and show you exciting places, shrines, local beliefs, natural gems, rivers, and village life. In the evening, your guide will take you to Kiri Vehera, an ancient stupa in Kataragama, Sri Lanka. This stupa, which dates back to the 3rd century BC, is believed to have been built by King Mahasena. Then, you will visit the famous Hindu temple, Kataragama Devalaya, to gain cultural experience. After dinner at a local restaurant, you will be dropped off at your hotel, where you will be ready to rest and reflect on your adventures.Day 6 & 7
Ella Adventures
Day 6: After breakfast, you are again on your road trip towards Ella, this picturesque mountain town. Upon arrival, you’ll check in to your hotel in Southern Ella and take some time to relax and soak in the serene surroundings. In the afternoon, you’ll visit the famous Nine Arch Bridge, a stunning colonial-era structure set amidst lush greenery. You can walk from Ella Town for one hour and capture breathtaking photographs of the bridge as it towers above the mist, or you can opt for a convenient tuk-tuk ride for a quicker journey. As the sun sets, immerse yourself in Ella's vibrant nightlife. The town boasts various lively restaurants and bars, offering a delightful mix of local and international cuisine and a welcoming atmosphere that sets it apart from other South Asian destinations. Day 7: Rise early for a hike to Ella Rock, also known as Little Adam’s Peak. This trek, lasting between three to five hours, takes you through beautiful tea plantations and dense forests, rewarding you with panoramic views of the surrounding valleys. In the afternoon, cool off at Ravana Falls, where you can experience the refreshing waters and stunning natural beauty. The falls are a perfect natural spa, revitalizing your energy for further exploration. Then, you’ll also have the chance to visit the nearby Ravana Caves, which are rich in history and folklore.

Nuwara Eliya Exploration
Day 8: Begin your day with a delightful breakfast at your hotel in Ella before departing from Nuwara Eliya, known for its enchanting mist-covered mountains. Upon arrival, check into your cosy hotel, where the serene surroundings set the tone for your stay. Your first stop is the stunning Ramboda Waterfall. This majestic cascade, surrounded by lush greenery, offers a breathtaking sight and a perfect backdrop for photos. Feel the refreshing mist as you take in the area's natural beauty. Next, immerse yourself in the world of tea at the Pedro Estate factory. Here, you'll discover the intricate process of tea manufacturing, from cultivation to grading and packaging for export. Learn about the rich history of Sri Lankan tea and the art that goes into producing some of the finest teas in the world. After an enriching day, return to your hotel to unwind. Day 9: Rise early to explore Victoria Park, a tranquil oasis in the heart of Nuwara Eliya. Spanning approximately 27 acres, the park features meticulously manicured lawns, towering trees, and a vibrant array of flowering plants, making it a perfect spot for a peaceful stroll or relaxation. Continue your exploration at the Hakgala Botanical Garden, the second-largest botanical garden in Sri Lanka. Established in 1861, this 28-hectare garden is part of the Hakgala Strict Nature Reserve. Wander through themed gardens and scenic walking paths, where you'll encounter a diverse collection of exotic plants, trees, and flowers, all set against a picturesque landscape. In the evening, head to Gregory Lake, a serene spot perfect for picnicking and various water activities. As the day comes to a close, enjoy the peaceful ambience and stunning views. Kandy - History, Culture, and Nature
Kandy, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a city rich in history and culture, set amidst lush hills, serene landscapes, history and culture. As the last royal capital of Sri Lanka, it offers a unique blend of spirituality and beauty. Here’s a captivating two-day itinerary to explore this historic city. Day 10: Arrival and Cultural Immersion Morning Departure from Nuwara Eliya Begin your day with a delightful breakfast at your hotel in Nuwara Eliya before departing for Kandy. As you journey through picturesque landscapes, anticipate the historical treasures that await you in this vibrant city. Check-In and Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic Upon your arrival in Kandy, check into your hotel and prepare for your first visit: the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa). Built between 1687 and 1707, this revered temple houses a relic believed to be a tooth of the Buddha. It’s a significant pilgrimage site for Sri Lankans and international visitors, and the atmosphere here is infused with spirituality and reverence. Take your time to explore the ornate architecture and the serene surroundings that enhance this sacred experience. Kandy Museum After immersing yourself in the temple's history, head to the Kandy Museum. Once a royal residence, this museum showcases a fascinating collection of royal regalia and artefacts that reflect the grandeur of the Kandyan kingdom. Notable exhibits include Rajasinha II's golden crown, offering a glimpse into the opulent past. Although some visitors find the layout and lighting lacking, the venue's historical significance makes it a worthwhile stop. Bahiravokanda Vihara Buddha Statue Our next visit is to explore the Bahiravokanda Vihara Buddha Statue. This place showcases a breathtaking view of the entire Kandy town. The 88ft high statue of Buddha is something one should not miss while in Kandy. The white statue can be seen from any part of Peradeniya city as it is strategically located on top of the Bahirava Kanda (devil’s) hill. You can either climb the steps to reach the viewpoint. The beauty of the statue doubles during the night when lamps light it. This place showcases a breathtaking view of the entire Kandy town. Highlights: A panoramic view of the city, including the lake, tea factory, and football stadium; a gallery with artefacts based on Buddha's life; and a souvenir shop with lovely goodies at a much friendlier price. Return to Your Hotel After a delightful evening, return to your hotel to unwind and reflect on the day's experiences. Day 11: Rise early to enjoy breakfast at your hotel before heading to the renowned Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden near the Mahaweli River. This sprawling garden is famous for its extensive collection of orchids and features over 4,000 species of plants, including medicinal herbs and palm trees. Don’t miss the National Herbarium of Sri Lanka, where you can learn more about the country’s diverse flora and fauna. Kandy City Tour & Walk around Kandy Lake After visiting Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden, return to Kandy for a city tour. Visit local landmarks such as the city Centre and walk through the streets to experience Kandy’s vibrant cultural scene. Then, you will walk around Kandy Lake, also known as Kiri Muhuda or the Sea of Milk, an artificial lake in the heart of the hill city of Kandy, Sri Lanka. It was built in 1807 by King Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe next to the Temple of the Tooth. It is a protected lake. Next, take a break and indulge in Sri Lankan cuisine. Try signature dishes like rice, curry, hoppers, and kottu roti, and sample traditional sweets. Kandyan Cultural Centre - The Kandyan Cultural Dance Show This is one of the most attractive shows you should visit in Kandy if you wanna experience some traditional folk dance of Srilanka. The dancers immerse themselves in the dance and entertain you with their heart and soul, not to be missed. These Dances are performed at local ceremonies and rituals using drums and costumes that are unique to each area. Among the attractions are the Dances depicting the majestic walk of the elephant, the peacock's colourful performance and the cobra's mystical movements. Evening Return to Hotel After the Kandyan Cultural Dance Show, your guide will drop you back at your hotel, allowing you to unwind and savour the memories of your Kandy adventure.Day 12 & 13
Sigiriya (Lion Rock) and Dambulla
Day 12: Arrival and Cultural Immersion Morning Departure from Kandy. Begin your day with a delightful breakfast at your hotel in Kandy before departing for Sigiriya & Dambulla. As you journey through picturesque landscapes, anticipate the historical treasures that await you in this vibrant city. Dambulla Arrival. Upon arrival in Dambulla, your journey takes you directly to the stunning Dambulla Cave Temple, also known as the Rangiri Dambulla Temple. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is famous for its remarkable cave complex and intricate rock paintings dating back over 2,000 years. As one of the best-preserved cave temples in Sri Lanka, it offers a unique glimpse into the island's spiritual history.
The Dambulla Cave Temple features five main caves adorned with exquisite sculptures and frescoes depicting the lives of the Buddha and various deities. The Great Cave stands out with its impressive 14-meter-long reclining Buddha statue, surrounded by vibrant murals and detailed carvings that create a serene and captivating atmosphere. After exploring the temple, enjoy a leisurely lunch and visit your hotel. Take time to relax and recharge; the next day promises an exhilarating adventure climbing Sigiriya Rock. Day 13: Visit Sigiriya Lion Rock Rise early to climb Sigiriya Lion Rock; Begin your day with a delightful breakfast at your hotel in the historic city of Sigiriya. Rising dramatically from the surrounding plains, Sigiriya Rock, also known as Lion Rock, is one of Sri Lanka’s most iconic landmarks. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1982, this ancient rock fortress dates back to the 5th century AD, when King Kasyapa originally constructed it as a royal citadel. A Journey to the summit and climbing to the top of Sigiriya are exhilarating experiences. Visitors ascend approximately 1,200 steps, navigating through breathtaking frescoes, mirror walls, and the remnants of an ancient palace. The famous frescoes depicting celestial maidens offer a glimpse into the artistry and culture of the time. As you ascend, you'll encounter the impressive Lion's Gate, which once featured a colossal lion statue. Although only the paws remain, it still evokes a sense of grandeur. Upon reaching the summit, visitors are rewarded with panoramic views of the lush jungles and far-off mountains and the impressive remains of the royal citadel, including water gardens, bathing pools, and the throne room. After you return from Sigiriya Rock, you will head back to Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka. Once you arrive, you will check into your hotel, have dinner, and sleep well.Day 14

Rise early and have breakfast. Then, there is an option to travel around Colombo City and shop at major shopping malls. Once your city tour finishes, we will drop you off at Colombo (CMB) airport for international travel.
